Sobre o artista:

O artista visual Ivan Aaron nasceu em 1952, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Filho mais velho de mãe egípcia e pai polonês, Ivan sempre foi extremamente influenciado por sua ascendência judaica. Ele já esteve envolvido em diversas produções artísticas ao longo de sua vida, como o piano, o teatro, a dança e o design de joias.

A coleção “Out of the Blue” tomou forma definitiva no ano de 2021 quando o artista completou 69 anos de vida. Sua elaboração levou cerca de dez anos. Ivan obteve inspiração para a criação da sua nova coleção de um momento difícil de sua vida familiar. No momento de incubação de seu processo criativo, Ivan fotografou diversos materiais em sua casa iluminados por ele com luz artificial, desenvolvendo um fragmento importante de sua nova criação. A linguagem visual que o artista propõe contempla a associação de desenhos lineares em nanquim, composições fotográficas e uma paleta de azuis, que variam do tom mais claro ao mais escuro.

Nesses últimos dez anos Ivan materializou nos trabalhos que desenvolveu toda sua trajetória artística. O piano, a dança ,o teatro e a joalheria se juntaram nessa coleção que ele apresenta agora : “Out of the Blue”.

About the artist :

Visual artist Ivan Aaron was born in 1952 in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The eldest son of Egyptian mother and Polish father, Ivan has always been extremely influenced by his Jewish ancestry. He has been involved in various artistic productions throughout his life, such as the piano, theater, dance and jewelry design.

The “Out of the Blue” collection took definitive shape in 2021 when the artist completed 69 years of life. It’s elaboration took about ten years. Ivan drew inspiration for the creation of his new collection from a difficult time in his family life. During the incubation period of his creative process, Ivan photographed several materials in his house, illuminated by him with artificial light, developing an important fragment of his new creation. The visual language that the artist proposes includes the association of linear drawings in nanquim, photographic compositions and a palette with shades of blues, which vary from the lightest to the darkest tone.

In the last ten years, Ivan has materialize in the works that he has developed all his trajectory throughout his artistic career. Piano, dance, theater and jewelry came together in this collection he now presents: “Out of the Blue”.
